Unfurl - SOLD
I paint abundance as an act of insistence. Color pushed forward. Beauty made undeniable. Forms that refuse to shrink back into the background.

This work carries the same core question that runs through all of my paintings: what happens when pleasure, fullness, and aliveness are given scale and seriousness?
Flowers have long been treated as decorative. Something to soften a room, to sit quietly in the margins. I’m more interested in letting them surge forward. Layered. Complex. Almost unruly. Against a dark ground, they don’t recede—they ignite.
Across my work—whether donuts, still lifes, or florals—I return to abundance. To appetite. To the idea that beauty and joy are not trivial, but powerful. Especially now.
I want these paintings to feel generous. Expansive. Unapologetic.
If you believe joy can be powerful—and that beauty deserves to take up space—this image is for you.
