This painting is part of Infinite Sweetness, my ongoing series exploring pleasure, appetite, and abundance through the language of frosting, sprinkles, and color. These small still lifes become something larger: symbols of tenderness, desire, and the right to want.

I’m drawn to the things we’re told are trivial—treats, indulgence, feminine-coded joy—and I paint them as worthy of attention. Even reverence. Here, sweetness becomes its own orbit: a reminder that beauty can be sustaining, that delight can be defiant.
